Iran`s Bushehr nuclear plant to become fully operational in months

TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) – The Bushehr nuclear power plant will be connected to the national grid at its full capacity during the first months of Iranian calendar year 1391, which begins on March 20, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Director Fereydoun Abbasi announced on Sunday. The plant, which is located near the port city of Bushehr on the coast of the Persian Gulf, will generate 1000 megawatts of electricity once it becomes fully operational. The plant has reached 75 percent of its power generation capacity so far.
