Lebanese envoy lauds Iran’s backing to resistance movement

TEHRAN, Feb. 9(MNA) – In a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran on Wednesday, Khalil Hamdan, the special envoy of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, appreciated the Islamic Republic’s aid to the resistance movement in Lebanon. Hamdan, who is a member of the Amal presiding board, discussed various issues including the latest developments in the region and the world with Salehi. Salehi also emphasized the importance of Berri’s role in the developments in Lebanon and appreciated his efforts in helping the resistance movement and promoting solidarity among Muslim countries.
