Lebanon calls on Iran to help reduce power deficit

TEHRAN,Jan.29 (MNA)-- Lebanon has called on Iran to help reduce its power deficit, asking the Islamic Republic to sell it electricity, or to sponsor a new power project in the country. Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour raised the issue with Iranian Ambassador Ghazanfar Roknabadi during his visit to Beirut. Roknabadi said Iran was ready to ink electricity cooperation agreements between the two states as soon as possible.
