Maldives President receives Abdullah bin Zayed

MALE, 9th May, 2016 (WAM) -- Maldives President, Abdulla Yameen, yesterday received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to President Yameen. They wished him well, and further prosperity and welfare to the fraternal people of Maldives. The President of Maldives asked H.H. Sheikh Abdullah to convey his regards to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing them well, and further progress to the Emirati people. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Maldives as well as ways to enhance them in the best interests of the two countries. Yameen hailed the cultural boom witnessed by the UAE in all fields and lauded the outstanding achievements accomplished for its people thanks to the wisdom and vision of its prudent leadership, as well as its keenness on exerting all possible efforts to provide a decent life for all Emiratis.
