New defense achievements to be unveiled during Ten-Day Dawn

TEHRAN, Jan. 28 (MNA) – Iranian Defense minister announced on Saturday that Iran plans to unveil tens of new defense achievements during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations (February 1-11) marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that the achievements are in the fields of aerospace, aviation, missile technology, telecommunications, electronics, air defense, and smart ammunition technology. He added that the defense achievements are the result of efforts made by Iranian scientists and engineers, a fact that shows the ineffectiveness of sanctions against the Islamic Republic. Vahidi had previously announced that Iran plans to send at least one satellite into space and unveil a new domestically manufactured naval surveillance aircraft during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations.
