Parliamentary elections of 2016 to be organized in 76 single-mandate electoral districts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its plenary meeting held Thursday, the parliamentary plenary session passed amendments to the law on elections. In accordance with the amendments to the law, all 76 candidates will be elected from the 76 single-mandate electoral districts applying the majority-at-small voting system, in which each voter is allowed to vote for only one option. Moreover, names of candidates from political parties and coalitions will be announced on May 20-23 , pursuant to the amendments.
