Popular Front of Reforms enters the election race in Iran

TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – The Popular Front of Reforms announced on Sunday its 16-member candidate list in Tehran as the election date is approaching. The PFR along with Mardomsalari Front (Democracy Front) are two reformist-leaning groups which have put principlist and independent candidates on their lists. The main figures of the list are Elah-e Rastgou and pro-worker candidate Alireza Mahjoub. Vocal government critic Ali Motahari and Omidvar Rezaei, a principlist MP who sits on the Majlis Health Committee, are included in the list.
