President returns home after visiting Myanmar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj arrived back home on June 17 from a working visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, which took place in frames of the celebration of 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties. On the sidelines of his visit, the Mongolian President attended the Sound Management of Natural Resuorces – 2 International Workshop and Mongolia-Myanmar Business Forum. The forum was of great significance in mutual learning of investment and business environments, enhancing business contacts and opening a new market for Mongolian companies. President Ts.Elbegdorj held official talks with the president of Myanmar Mr Htin Kyaw, and took part in the ceremony for signing key documents of cooperation. Also, he met with the State Council and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Ms Aung San Suu Kyi. Afterwards, the President received the state officials, professors and students. Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and a Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar paid courtesy calls on our President as well.
