Qualifications of another 431 parliament candidates approved

TEHRAN, Feb. 5 (MNA) – The director of the Interior Ministry election headquarters has said that so far the Guardian Council has approved 431 candidates whose qualifications had been rejected. Solat Mortazavi said that the council has carefully investigated the complaints lodged by the rejected candidates and approved 431 of them up to now. The final result of the vetting of candidates will be announced on February 10. Guardian Council spokesman Abbas Ali Kadkhodaii had previously said that there was a possibility that the qualifications of the rejected candidates would be approved.
