S.Leader Inaugurates 16th NAM Summit In Tehran

Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – The 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) was inaugurated here Thursday in the presence of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Supreme Leader is accompanied by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Head of the Experts Assembly Ayatollah Ahmad Janati, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Judiciary Chief Sadeq Amoli Larijani and a number of other senior officials of the country. Iran is to receive the NAM presidency officially from Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi for a three-year period./end
