Supreme Leader commemorates the lives of 17 IRGC personnel

TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a message on Wednesday commemorating the lives of the personnel of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps who were martyred in the recent blast at an IRGC munitions depot. The Leader’s message was read out by Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a former IRGC commander, during a ceremony held in Tehran on Wednesday to commemorate the IRGC personnel who were killed in the blast. In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei offered his condolences over the death of Major General Hassan Tehrani Moqaddam, the director of the IRGC Jihad Self-Sufficiency Organization, and described him as a “prominent scientist”.
