U.S. drone penetrated 250 km into Iran’s airspace

TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (MNA) -- Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations told CNN on Friday that the drone, which was flying over the northeastern province of South Khorasan, was brought down by the country’s Armed Forces. The drone had penetrated 250 kilometers into Iran’s airspace, Ambassador Mohammad Khazaii stated. He also dismissed news reports claiming that Iran has agreed to share intelligence on the drone with other countries. An informed source in the Iranian military said on December 7 that Russian and Chinese officials have asked for permission to inspect the aircraft.
