World’s 2nd factor VII factory opened in Iran

TEHRAN, Feb. 7 (MNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched the production line of antibody products at AryoGen factory on Monday which produces biotechnological medicines and is the second factory in the world producing blood factor VII. Factor VII (formerly known as proconvertin) is one of the proteins that cause blood to clot in the coagulation cascade. It helps stop uncontrollable bleeding in hemophilia patients.
