Al Ahli to Have Pre-Season Camp in Austria

Doha, May 13 (QNA) - Al Ahli football team decided to hold the pre-season training camp in Austria for two weeks in July. The management is expected to make decisions on a number of matters, such as recruitment of coach and foreign professional players, well before the new season starts as they are eager to fare far better next time than their ninth-place finish in the QNB Stars League, Al Ahli Media Officer Essa Al Malki said. Al Ahli are set to play a number of friendlies during their build-up to the new season. Al Ahli finished the season in ninth place with 22 points and lost in the Emir cup in the early stages. The management, headed by Al Ahli Sports Club President HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Thani are eager to prepare well for the 2018-19 season. (QNA)
