Al Duhail Take on Persepolis in AFC Champions League on Tuesday

Doha, August 27 (QNA) - Qatar's Al Duhail will take on Iranian side Persepolis on Tuesday in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League. Al Duhail are looking to achieve a good result at their home ground ahead of facing Persepolis in Tehran on Sep 18. Al Duhail, who are looking to qualify for the semi-final for the first time in their history, will miss several key players, including Tunisia's Youssef Msakni and the Qataris Karim Boudiaf and Ismaeel Mohammad. Al Duhail hope to be the second Qatari team to win the AFC Champions League after Al Sadd, winner of 1989 and 2011 editions. Al Duhail qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating UAE's Al Ain 8-3 on aggregate. Persepolis advanced to the quarter-finals after beating to UAE's Al Jazira in the round of 16. (QNA)
