Gulf Air sponsors Bahrain Marathon Relay 2018

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain; has affirmed its commitment to the local community development, by signing up as a Bronze sponsor to the Bahrain Marathon Relay 2018 (www.bahrain-mr.com); scheduled to take place on November 9th 2018.  Speaking on this occasion, Captain Waleed Abdulhameed Alalawi Gulf Air’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer commented: "As the national carrier, Gulf Air is pleased to sponsor Bahrain Marathon Relay 2018, confirming the national carriers’ commitment to supporting the local community development initiatives that Bahrain Marathon Relay undertakes here in Bahrain; whereby, other than promoting healthy and fitness enthusiasm – Bahrain Marathon Relay’s fun & frolic marathon relay ultimately turns to generate contributions towards various pressing community services & developments, in general".  Jalal Akila; Chairman of Bahrain Marathon Relay’s Organizing Committee commented: "We are pleased to welcome Gulf Air onboard to support Bahrain Marathon Relay which is running since 37 years and takes 200 teams and over 3,200 participants to take part in this Marathon demonstrating the national carriers’ beliefs and esteem to support the local community’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in Bahrain."
