Iran’s Rahimi wins gold at Asia Wrestling

TEHRAN,Feb.19(MNA)--Hassan Rahimi claimed a gold medal at the 2012 Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championships, which is underway at Gumi, South Korea on Saturday. The 55kg Iranian beat Yasuhiro Inaba from Japan and won the gold medal. The bronze medal went to Amit Kumar from India and Kim Jin-Cheol from South Korea. Masoud Esmaeilpour from Iran seized the silver after being beaten by Indian Yogeshwar Dutt in the 60kg weight class. Mongolian Banzragchyn Bayanmunkh and Japanese Tomotsugu Ishida jointly won the bronze medal.
