KHK Sports launches Khalid bin Hamad's KHK Heroes initiative

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): In implementation of the directives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Honourary President of the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation, KHK Sports Organisation has launched HH Shaikh Khalid's initiative, KHK Heroes during a press conference held on Wednesday at Park Regis Hotel. It's part of HH Shaikh Khalid's initiatives for disabled people and humanitarian issues. The event was attended by KHK MMA and Brave Combat Federation CEO Mr Mohammed Shahid and Founder of Bahrain for All Nivedita Dhadphale and representatives of local and international media outlets. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: "It's a great joy for us that this initiative has finally seen the light. It's aimed to maintain the culture of giving towards disabled people and help them practice their life normally as this will contribute to blending them in the society so they can be part of the developmental process in various sectors." HH Shaikh Khalid added that this step is part of the efforts being produced by HH to implement HM the King's directives to continue extending care for this segment of people. "Disabled people are an integral part of our Bahraini society and everyone has to participate in embracing them and supporting them to provide them with an environment that allows them to unleash their creativities and abilities. Meanwhile, Mr Shahid expressed his utmost appreciation and gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his instructions to launch this initiative, applauding HH's interest and care for this segment of people. He thanks Bahrain for All for their support to the launching of this initiative.
