Malaysia Record Second Win At AFF U-19 Championship

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysia continued its winning streak at the AFF U-19 championship after beating Brunei 2-0 in their second Group B match at the Joko Samudro Stadium in East Java, Indonesia, Friday. The second victory saw Bojan Hodak's young squad leading the group with six points after two matches. Malaysia took the lead as early as in the sixth minute through Muhammad Syahmi Zamri before Muhammad Nizarruddin Jazi scored the second goal seven minutes later. Malaysia will meet Timor Leste in the third Group B match at the same venue on Sunday. -- BERNAMA
