New Qatar Stars League Season to Kick Off Tomorrow

Doha, August 20 (QNA) - The 2019-20 Qatar Stars League (QSL) will kick off Wednesday with 12 clubs competing for the championship title and to qualify for the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup. The league will see the defending champions Al Sadd kick off their campaign against promoted side Al Wakrah on the opening day, while Al Duhail, runners-up of last season, will face Qatar club. The rest of the matches will be completed on Thursday and Friday, as Al Gharafa will face Al Shahania and Al Sailiya will face Al Khor on Thursday, while on Friday Al Arabi will meet Al Ahli and Al Rayyan will meet Umm Salal on Friday.
