Qatar Lose to Oman in IHF Men's Beach Handball Championship in Kazan

Kazan, July 25 (QNA) - The Qatari beach handball team were defeated by Oman 1/2 in the final match of the 2018 IHF Men's Beach Handball Championship held in Kazan, Russia and continues until July 29. The loss did not affect Qatar in Group C as they won their previous two matches against Australia 2-0 and Denmark with the same result to qualify for the second round. Qatar's beach handball team were seeking a new achievement in the current edition of the World Championship after finishing third in the last two editions (2014 in Brazil and 2016 in Hungary). Qatar qualified for the world handball championship held in Kazan after winning the Asian Championship in the sixth edition held in Thailand last year for the fourth time in a row. (QNA)
