Qatar Lose to Pakistan in Asian U23 Volleyball

Naypyitaw, August 03 (QNA) - Qatar lost to Pakistan (zero -3) in the match between them today in the opening round of Group C matches in the third edition of the Asian Volleyball Championship under 23 years, held in Naypyitaw, Myanmar, with the participation of 16 teams. The three games of the match ended (25-22, 25-11, 25-21) for Pakistan. In the same group, Bahrain lost to China Taipei 0-3, with (20-25, 19-25, 23-25). Qatar need to win a second-round match against China Taipei on Sunday to keep their chances of qualifying for Group C of the quarter-finals, as is Bahrain when they meet Pakistan in the second round.
