Qatar Wins Second Gold Medal in 2018 Asian Games

Jakarta, August 26 (QNA) - Qatar won its second gold medal after Ashraf Elseify won on Sunday the gold medal in the mens hammer throw at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. The Qatari champion won the contest with a throw of 76.88 meters. Tajikistan's Dilshod Nazarov came in the second place and won silver with a throw of 74.16 meters. Uzbeki athlete Sukhrob Khodjaev was the third with a throw of 74.06 to take bronze. Qatari champion Abdalelah Haroun has won Qatar's first gold medal in the 400m race at the 2018 Asian Games. He won the 400m race in 44.89 seconds. Also, Tosin Ogunode won the silver medal of the 100m men's race. In addition, Faris Hassouna won the silver medal men's 94 kg weightlifting at the 2018 Asian Games, and Hamad Al Marri captured the bronze medal in the double trap competition. (QNA)
