Qatar Wins Silver at Asian Games' 100m Race

Jakarta, August 26 (QNA) - Qatar's Tosin Ogunode won the silver medal in the men's 100m final on Sunday at the Asian Games in Jakarta. China's Su Bingtian won the gold clocking a time of 9.92 seconds. Ogunode came .08 seconds behind Su clocking a time of 10 seconds. Ogunode's brother Femi holds the Asian records for 100m at 9.93 seconds. Japan's Ryota Yamagata got the bronze medal at today's race. Abdalelah Haroun had also won for Qatar a gold medal in 400m race. With this silver Qatar now have four medals, including Fares Elbakh's silver medal in the weightlifting and the bronze by shooter Hamad Al Marri. (QNA)
