Qatari Team Wins Two Gold and Two Silver Medals in Thai Shooting Championship

Bangkok, July 29 (QNA) - Qatari athlete Saeed Abusharib won a gold medal in the Thailand Open Shooting Championships 2018 held at one of the international shooting arenas. In addition, Rashid Al Athba won a silver medal resulting in the Qatari national team winning a gold medal. On the other hand Qatari shooter Reem Al Sharshani, Hager Mohammed and Sara Mohammed won a silver medal in the tournament. The Thai national team ranked second and the Chinese team ranked third in the group standings. Head of delegation and chairman of the national shooting team committee Ali Saeed Al Mannai highlighted the success of the Qatari national team in the skeet championship. He said through these victories the athletes prepare for the competitions of the Asian games, which will be held in August in Jakarta, Indonesia. He said this championship is the key to success that will achieve all the aspirations sought by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association headed by Ali Mohammed Al Sheikh Al Kuwari, president of the association.
