Qatar's Al Duhail Beat Myanmar 2-1 in Friendly Match

Doha, October 20 (QNA) - Al Duhail first football team defeated Myanmar 2-1 in a friendly match at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. The friendly is part of players' preparation for their upcoming matches in the Qatari League (QNB Stars League). Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul worked on allowing a number of substitute and under-23 players to determine their physical and technical readiness before returning to the league, in addition to Khaled Muftah who returned after an absence due to muscle injury. Al Duhail ended the first half with a 2-0 lead, after Hazem Shehata opened the scoring in the 21st minute and Edmilson in 40th minute. In the second half, Myanmar managed to reduce the gap and scored their sole goal. (QNA)
