SDB Wins At FIABCI World Prix D'excellence Awards 2018

KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 (Bernama) -- Hijauan on Cavenagh, a development by SDB Asia Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Selangor Dredging Bhd (SDB), was the World Silver Winner at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2018 in the Residential (Mid-Rise) category. SDB managing director, Teh Lip Kim, said the award was the company's fifth FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards win, and the first FIABCI Prix d’Excellence award for a development in Singapore. The awards presentation ceremony was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Tuesday. Hijauan on Cavenagh comprises 41 residential units, located in prime, tree-lined Cavenagh Road, adjacent to the grounds of the Istana (official residence and office of the President of Singapore), and near the shopping belt of Orchard Road and Somerset MRT station, via a pedestrian link bridge. "We are indeed proud to have made our mark across the causeway and will work towards creating more award-winning developments both in Malaysia and Singapore,” said Teh in a statement Wednesday. FIABCI is the French acronym for International Real Estate Federation, which recognises excellence in real estate development worldwide. Various SDB developments, namely Park Seven (KLCC), 20trees (Melawati), Dedaun (Ampang) and the river rehabilitation project at Sungai Satu, adjacent to By The Sea (Batu Ferringhi, Penang), have participated at the World FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards and SDB has since garnered one gold and four silver awards at this coveted international competition. -- BERNAMA
