Simone Biles Wins Fourth All-Around World Title

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Legendary gymnasts Simone Biles secured the gold medal in the women's singles competition held today in the finals of the 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Doha. Olympic champion and world champion Simone Biles won the first place in the competition with a total of 57,491 points. She beat the Japanese champion Mai Murakami, who finished second with a total of 56,693 points and won the silver medal. The other American champion Morgan Hurd came in third place with a total of 75,599 points to get the bronze medal. Belgian Nina Derwael came in fourth place, followed by Russian Angelina Melnikova and Melanie Santos of France in sixth place, followed by China's Shen Li in seventh place, and Brazilian Flavia Saraiva in eighth place in the competition where 24 champions qualified for the finals.
