Vietnam runners-up of int’l futsal tourney

Hanoi, June 27 (VNA) - Vietnam finished second at the recent CFA International Futsal Tournament in China. Vietnam beat New Zealand 7-0 in the last match on June 24 to become runners-up with six points after three matches. Russia took the trophy with nine points. Earlier, Vietnam defeated China 4-0 and lost to world silver medallists Russia 6-2. The three-day event featured four teams, namely New Zealand, Russia, Vietnam and China. The team returned home on June 25 to prepare for the upcoming National HDBank Futsal Championship’s final round./.
