This photo shows Geunjeongjeon, the main hall of Seoul's Gyeongbok Palace that was used for kings to hold official functions and receive foreign envoys during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), lit by lamps on Oct. 18, 2015. The office managing the administration of the palace tours has expanded the palace's opening hours to include nighttime from the previous day to Nov. 2. First built in 1395, Geunjeongjeon was burned down in 1592 by Japanese invaders and rebuilt in 1867. (Yonhap) (END)
