Sr. Iran Cleric Calls For Protection Of Pakistanˈs Shias

Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA -- Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani called on Pakistani people to maintain their unity and avoid creating rift among themselves, and also called on Pakistanˈs government to maintain security and protect peopleˈs lives and properties, including Shia people. He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of Pakistani clergymen and seminary students residing in Qomˈs seminary. While condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistani city of Quetta, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani sympathized with the families of the victims of the recent terrorist attacks.
