Zionist regime big threat to Muslim world security: Larijani

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said Friday that the Zionist regime is a big danger to the Muslim world’s security, progress and stability. In a meeting with the Jordan King’s special envoy and accompanying delegation, he noted that the issue of Palestine should be considered main issue of the Muslim world and it should not be left into oblivion. Some are making attempts to distort the issue of Palestine but the Muslim nations will not give up the issue until the full materialization of the Palestinians’ rights, he said. Jordan King's special envoy, Hassan bin Talal, for his part, described holding NAM Summit as important and said that presence of a large number of leaders in the event is indicative of Iran’s status and effective role in the region and the international community. “We know Iran as a country backing Islam and Arabs as well as an emerging power,” he said. Stating that foreign powers are seeking to deal blow to the Muslims by sowing discord among them, he underlined the need to strengthen unity and solidarity among the Muslim nations. He further noted that Iran’s plan for solving Syrian crisis is more realistic than the others.
