Moongcho, the official mascot of the Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics 2024, is set up at Gangneung Olympic Park in Gangneung, 163 kilometers east of Seoul, on Jan. 18, 2024, where the event's opening ceremony will be held the following day. The event will take place in Gangneung and other towns in Gangwon Province from Jan. 19-Feb. 1, with some 2,900 athletes from 70 nations participating. (Yonhap)
