Turkish non-governmental organizations will sacrifice livestock and deliver more than 500 tons of meat to people in Mogadishu, Somalia during the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

ANKARA (A.A) - November 1, 2011 - Turkey's embassy in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, has opened, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.  

MOGADISHU (A.A) - October 29, 2011 - Turkey will construct a mosque, hospital, two elementary schools, and prayer rooms in the famine-stricken Somalia.

I have seen in Somalia last month the failure of the U.N. and the international community in dealing with the urgent needs of the world, Erdogan said.

Meanwhile, officials from the Ministry of Health and the Prime Ministry Disasters and Emergency Management Agency carried out feasibility works in Somalia to erect mobile hospitals in Mogadishu.
