UN thanks UAE for assisting its staff in Kabul

Abu Dhabi, Feb 2, 2010 (WAM)- Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a message from United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in which he expressed his gratitude to the UAE for the support it has offered to UN injured personnel during the Kabul attack in last October.
The UN chief highly appreciated efforts made by the UAE government to facilitate transportation of the UN wounded staff to receive proper treatment in the UAE hospitals.
