UAE and Australia sign MoU

Canberra - Feb 7, 2010 (WAM)- UAE and Australia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the establishment of a joint committee for Consular Affairs. The MoU was signed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Canberra yesterday evening by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister and HE Stephen Smith, Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs. The Memorandum of Understanding is aimed at strengthening and developing cooperation in various consulate fields between the two countries.
