Ghobash arrives in Manama to take part in the 11th Gulf Festival for Radio and Television Production

Manama - Feb 10, 2010 (WAM)- HE Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Labour and Chairman of the National Media Council, arrived in Manama today at the head of the UAE delegation to participate in the 11th Gulf Festival for Radio and Television Production. The festival opened yesterday and will run until 12 February.
He was received at the Manama International airport by HE Sheikha Mai Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Minister of Culture and Information and Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation.
The delegation is composed of representatives of the Abu Dhabi Media Company, Dubai Media Incorporated and the Sharjah Media Foundation, all of whom participate in the festival under the umbrella of the National Media Council (NMC).
Ghobash hailed the role of Bahrain's Ministry of Culture and Information in organising the annual Festival of the radio and television production in Manama. The minister said the festival has made great strides in the past ten years. "The festival is a bridge of communication and cordial relations among the brothers in the GCC states", he said
