UAE Vice President holds talks with Turkmen president
Dubai, Feb 11, 2010 (WAM) - Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks yesterday at Zabeel Palace over ways of enhancing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Sheikh Mohammed and his guest reviewed contents of memoranda of understanding signed by the two countries in Abu Dhabi yesterday which are expected to open up new avenues of joint cooperation in areas of economy, trade, industry and technology that serve mutual interests.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed moves to energise cooperation between the UAE and Turkmenistan which translated directives of UAE President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan into agreements that place bilateral bonds into their natural course in a bid to achieve common aspired objectives.
