UAE, Jordan sign MoU on security cooperation

Amman - Feb 18, 2010 (WAM)- The United Arab Emirates and Jordan yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding which calls for strengthening security cooperation through exchange of information and documents. The MoU also aims at developing more effective measures for fighting crime, terrorism, drug trafficking, fraud and forgery.
The MoU was signed by Lt. General Saif Al Sha'afar, Under Secretary of the Interior Ministry, and Mekhaimar Abu Jamoos, Secretary General of the Jordanian Interior Ministry.
