Princess Haya crowns Venus Williams champion of Dubai Tennis Championship

Dubai, Feb 21, 2010 (WAM) - HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, yesterday crowned 5th seeded Venus Williams as champion of the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships, after beating Belarus' Victoria Azarenka in the final.
Williams received the championship cup plus prize money of US$350,000.
