Hanif Hassan discusses co-operation with Jordanian Minister of Health
Abu Dhabi, Feb 23, 2010 (WAM)- His Excellency Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali, UAE Minister of Health, received yesterday Dr. Naif Hayel Al Fayes, Jordanian Minister of Health, and his accompanied delegation. The two parties discussed bilateral relations in the health sector and ways of developing relationships between the two countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hanif welcomed the Jordanian Minister then reviewed the historical relations between the two countries reassuring the importance of exchanging information and experiences in the medical field. He said: "The UAE and Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have strong and solid relationships and we look forward to discussing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the medical field in terms of developing the medical human resources in the nursing field, laboratories as well as vital other medical practices".
The two parties discussed ways of developing bilateral relations, exchanging information technology in the field of pharmaceutical industries and cooperation in medical continuous learning centres and training. The two Ministers also reviewed the medical programs and steps that are approved by the different medical sectors in both countries towards raising health services and providing the required healthcare procedures to locals and expats.
