UAE mourns death of Sheikh Mubarak
Abu Dhabi, Feb 25, 2010 (WAM) - The Ministry of Presidential Affairs has mourned the death of Sheikh Mubarak Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan who passed away on Wednesday. Funeral prayers will be held on today after Dhuhur prayers at the Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Mosque in Al Bateen. The ministry announced a three-day mourning period.
The Courts of the Rulers of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Qaiwain also mourned the passing away of Sheikh Mubarak. Condolences will be accepted at Al Mushrif Palace after Asr prayers.
Sheikh Mubarak was the former UAE Minister of Interior. He was born in 1929.
