UAE Chief of Staff meets Spanish Defence Minister
Madrid - March 10, 2010 (WAM)- Chief of Staff of the UAE armed forces Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi met this morning with Spain's Defence Minister Carme Chacon.
Lt.Gen. Al Rumaithi is currently visiting Spain at the head of a delegation. During the meeting, they discussed military cooperation between UAE and Spain and ways of enhancing bilateral relations. Lt. General Al Rumaithi also met Spain's Chief of Staff Gen. General Jose Julio Rodriguez Fernandez. They discussed issues of common concern in the military field.
