Irish-UAE relations discussed
Dublin - Mar 10, 2010 (WAM)- UAE Ambassador to Ireland Khaled Nasser Lootah and the Secretary General of Irish Department of Foreign Affairs David Cooney have discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further promote them in various areas. The Irish official welcomed the opening of the UAE Embassy in Dublin which he said contributes to stronger relations.
Cooney further said the visit by Irish President Mary McAleese to the UAE in February last year contributed to enhancing economic, social, educational, and health relations between the UAE and Ireland.
