Abu Dhabi, March 14, 2010 (WAM)- Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid tribute to the founder of Al Owais Award the late Sultan bin Ali, describing the award as an "honorary model for citizens".
The remarks were made when Sheikh Abdullah received the Cultural and Scientific Achievement Award presented by the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation to HH Sheikha Fatima bin Mubarak.
He added that the services rendered by the late Sultan Al Owais were not confined only to the culture and arts, but extended to the charity work in the UAE and abroad.
