Abu Dhabi Police, British S'&'R team sign MoU
Abu Dhabi, Mar 24, 2010 (WAM)- Abu Dhabi Police and the British Search and Rescue team have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which calls for cooperation in capacity building and crisis management in urban areas.
Deputy Prime Minister '&' Interior Minister Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the signing ceremony last night.
The MOU was signed by Major Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Ansari, Abu Dhabi Police Field Liaison officer with the UN and Michael Thomas, Chief Officer of the British Search and Rescue team. The MOU also provides for joint exercises and operations during response to disaster in different parts of the world.
