UAE Vice President instructs government entities to open door for national job-seekers

Abu Dhabi, Mar 30, 2010 (WAM)- Offering job and employment opportunities to young job-seekers is the duty of the federal and local governments, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed today.
He stressed the concerned authorities should coordinate with the federal and local governments to absorb legions of male and female graduates according to their specialisations to avert unemployment in a country enjoying prosperity and stability.
Sheikh Mohammed was briefed about job opportunities offered by more than 100 employers from the public and private sectors.
He said during a tour of the annual Careers Show which is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre that development projects need hands and energies of the country's generations in order to contribute to the sustainable development drive which will never stop until the target is reached and construction is completed.
Sheikh Mohammed directed government departments and entities to open their doors for recruitment of UAE male and female graduates so as to enter the labour market, gain experience and hone their skills.
The 10th annual Careers Show is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 28 - 30 March 2010. The exhibition is organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, in conjunction with TANMIA, Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP), Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and UAE University.
Careers Show 2010 Exhibition provides the exhibitor with exposure to more people over a shorter period of time ensuring a cost-effective promotion and recruiting opportunity.
