UAE President receives condolences on the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed

Abu Dhabi, April 1, 2010 (WAM)- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received wave of condolence cables on the death of his brother Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He has received condolences cables from HH Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Jaber Al Sabah, Bahraini Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa, and Sheikh Juawan bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who also conveyed the condolences of his father, the Emir of Qatar, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, President Zein Al Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia and President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir of Sudan, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad , Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, President Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi of the Comoros Islands, President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak, Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika, Eritrean President Asaias Afwerki, His Majesty King Juan Carlos of Spain and the Lebanese Speaker Nabih Barri and the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”. He also received condolences from a number of envoys of Arab and foreign leaders including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Afghanistan, Albania and France.

Sheikh Saif receives condolences
Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, has received a cable of condolence from Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamed, Minister of Interior Sudan.

Mohammed bin Zayed receives condolence
General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received cables of condolences from H.M King Mohammed VI of Morocco and H.E Ali Osman Taha, Second Vice President of Sudan.

Abdullah bin Zayed receives condolence
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has received a cable of condolence from his Sudanese counterpart, H.E Deng Alor, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit and the Jordan’s Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
