Mubarak Al Muhairi elected as Vice Chairman of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities

Abu Dhabi, April 7, 2010 (WAM)- The Board of Directors of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities at its meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of HE Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, and Chairman of the Board, discussed a number of issues aimed at supporting the movement of tourism and antiquities in the country. The meeting also reviewed the role played by Council in the promotion of tourism and the preservation of archaeological sites and cultural heritage. Director General of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority Mubarak Al Muhairi has been elected as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities.
