RCA clinic in northern Yemen offers medication to 50,000 patients in 4 months

Hajjah/Yemen - April 12, 2010 (WAM)- The Red Crescent Authority Clinic at Al Mazraq 2 Camp for the displaced people in Hajjah Governorate, northern Yemen has offered curative medical services to about 50 thousand patients from last year December to April 2010. The clinic has also vaccinated 4800 children and received tens of neonatal at the same period. It provides health care for the displaced people in the camp which is currently hosting thousands because of the events there as well as patients received from other surrounding camps. The establishment of the clinic is an effort done by RCA to mitigate health and humanitarian suffering faced by the displaced people and improve their lives. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
